🔹تنها در سال جاری، ستاره‌شناسان نزدیک به ۴۰ سیارک را فهرست‌بندی کرده‌اند که مدار آنها بین زمین و ماه قرار گرفته است. #ناسا تا به امروز نزدیک به ۳۵ هزار جرم نزدیک به زمین را فهرست بندی کرده است که تعداد کمی از آنها خطر واقعی برخورد با زمین را دارند.
